To minimize the spread of COVID-19, Healthy Davis Together recommends specific quarantine and isolation practices for infected individuals and their close contacts.
Quarantine and isolation can be difficult for individuals and families who live in close quarters or who can’t work virtually resulting in lost wages. In order to address these barriers, HDT extends quarantine and isolation support, including housing, food, and salary support, to all HDT-qualified infected individuals and close contacts. Across all services offered, food support proved to be the most requested from residents. This case study outlines HDT’s approach to quarantine and isolation, and lessons learned that can be applied by others in the future.
