Healthy Davis Together is working closely with K-12 schools in Yolo County to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep students, educators, and community members safe.
We are partnering with school districts throughout the county to support a variety of COVID-19 prevention programs, including COVID-19 testing, contact tracing, and vaccine and general health education.
COVID-19 Testing
Conducting free saliva-based (aka spit tests) for students, educators and school staff, as well as rapid antigen tests for any symptomatic students or staff on campus.
Contact Tracing
Supporting contact tracing when a COVID-19 case is detected through school testing.
Health Communications and Education
Raising awareness and encouraging students and staff to follow local COVID-19 masking and other safe behavior guidance.
Symptom Screening
Supporting at-home and on-site symptom screening protocols to monitor symptoms of educators and students daily.
Vaccine Coordination
Providing educators, parents, and students with the latest information on vaccine access and supporting schools hosting vaccine clinics.
